Bobby pulled in the driveway and parked. The scent of coffee filled the inside of his car and he took a sip from his cardboard cup, careful not to burn his tongue. He'd stopped at the coffee shop after the grocery store because functioning without coffee was unheard of for him. Thor had wanted him to cook breakfast, but there was nothing in the house to cook with. There were some assorted pots and plates and eating utensils, but no food. He turned the car off and grabbed the bag of ingredients and the coffee cups. He'd didn't know how Thor took his coffee so Bobby just left it black. He'd picked up some drinkable milk that Thor could use if he needed to. Bobby wasn't even sure Thor drank coffee, but if he didn't, well, that just left more for Bobby.

Nudging the door closed with his hip, Bobby walked quickly to the front door of the house. He hadn't had a key either. He hoped nothing had happened while he was gone but the neighborhood was so quiet this morning, he couldn't imagine anyone breaking and entering. He eased inside. Nothing moved, nothing disturbed. Bobby set the bag and coffee down in the kitchen, found the note he'd left still on the stove, and went down the hall to check on Thor, trying to ignore how at home he felt in Thor's space.
